Public Information Meeting
The Town of Berwick has received an application on behalf of Guy's Frenchy's to allow for the redevelopment of the former Lion's Club property for commercial (retail) purposes. At present the Town's Municipal Planning Strategy does not allow for commercial use of property.
Before considering whether to amend the Municipal Planning Strategy the Town's Plannng Advisory Committee will be holding a public information meeting in order to gather input from the community regarding potential commercial development on Brown Street. The input provided by interested residents will be considered by the Planning Advisory Committee in its efforts to consider options for long term development of the property and the area and in preparation of a recommendation to Town Council.
The information meeting will be held on June 7, 2011 at 6:30 pm in the Council Chambers at the Town Hall, 236 Commercial Street. All members of the community are invited to participate.
